Problem with facebook preview of post

Firstly sorry for my bad english.

My problem is that since I installed Newspaper 8, when I post an URL of a post on facebook, on the social media the post doesn’t show a preview.

I try to use Sharing debugger of facebook but it shows me the following issues:

The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

Can you help me?

It is true that a few days ago I update the Yoast Seo plugin. Now I am looking how to open graph tags but I don’t see the option.

Do you know where is it?

Wow now I am seeing that one of the benefits of yoast seo premium is the preview on social media.

May be this the reason of my problem? But before it works fine on free version.

Yeah. Also note every time you update Yoast SEO, be sure to check the ‘features’ page as they sometimes turn stuff ‘on’ by default, even if you don’t want it (like ‘count links’) or similar. They have also added new ‘user roles’ for SEO Manager to the WP dbase without asking if we wanted that. I posted a [tutorial] around here on how to turn that off with a function.

Does using the premium edition of Yoast make any difference?

I’m struggling with getting the preview on a post in Facebook. Sometimes I get 404. The facebook debugger tool says that I dont have og:image tags or og:description tags.

I’m using Yoast free edition.

Simply look at your post meta. If the og tags are there, then they are there. If not then yoast not setup properly.
