Problem with post styles and featured image

Hello,

I using your theme for several months and I’m actually very excited!

Unfortunately I can not use an important feature of your theme.

My website exists since 2009 and it currently contains more than 22,000 articles, that manually have the featured image on the top of the articles.

For this reason I deactivated from your theme panel, the ability to display the featured image on the top of the articles.

Because of this I can not use the option to change the Post templates, except the default style, style6 and style8.

Is there a way that I can use the others post styles, without having to activate the “SHOW FEATURED IMAGE” option from the theme panel;

(I use the Newsmag – version: 2.3.5)

Please help me to use this specific feature of your theme!

Hi
I think the way we got around this was

a) leave “use featured image” active
b) set “default” template to no image
c) existing content uses the no image template
d) new content can use template that loads featured image into layout

Not sure that works with latest version of theme, as I’m not yet on the newest version.

I’ve test the post templates with the featured image deactivated for posts and they works fine. I am not sure this problem occur on your side so if you still can’t manage to solve it please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
