Hi. Newspaper theme is great! We bought 7 licenses. Last one yestarday. For the first time we have a strange problem: we can’t save settings in “theme panel”. No errors. It just keeps loading. We found out that one more client have the same problem (https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609/comments?page=661&filter=all#comment_18495903). Our hosting company says that they did not change anything. We do not have any extra plugins etc. yet. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Basically the most important thing to mention in this case, would be the theme system status. Insufficient server and WordPress resources can cause such issues
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The parameters should be as the guide recommends to try and ensure a good theme and theme plugins functionality.
If this is set correctly and no other plugins are installed, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look.
Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hey. I know what the problem was. If you have similiar problem you must not use php greater than 7.1. After changing it to 5.4.45 saving settings was ok once again.
Hi,
@admin_kh First check the theme system status as instructed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources if needed, according to the guide.
Check the PHP version, the theme is tested with versions up to 7.1 higher versions can create issues.
Additionally deactivate all plugins except theme plugins as a quick test, check if this has any effect.
Use the browser inspector console to spot errors while saving the panel settings

In some cases the server firewall or security configuration denied the theme request, causing the problem.
Thanks
Hi,
If there is an error, in almost all similar cases this was related to the server firewall or security configuration. It blocks or denies the admin-ajax request.
In this case you can contact the hosting provider and explain the situation, provide them with a screenshot of the error (usually a 403 error on the admin-ajax). They should be able to fix it easily.
Thanks
