problem with site reloading on iphone

Hey guys,

Love the new update, works like a charm 🙂

I’m having a slight problem with one of my sites that runs the newsmag theme

When I try to view the site on my iphone4s in safari browser the site loads but as soon as you try to scroll down the site constantly reloads with the error

A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded.

I’ve had a search through the forum but can’t find any other questions on this subject. I do have 2 other sites running this theme and they both run the exact same settings/plugins and they work fine.

The only difference between the sites that work and the one that keeps reloading is the site with the problem is made up entirely of videos from Youtube, not sure if this is what’s causing the problem but it does seem possible.

Hi Lucien,

I’ve narrowed the problem down and stopped it from happening 🙂

It seemed to be a poorly sized background image on the homepage that was set to resize, I think the image resizing was freaking out the browser sending it on a reload loop.

I also disabled some stuff like breadcrumbs, smart sidebar and loading animation image at the same time but it’s stopped the problem anyway.

I’ll add them back in over the course of time to see if it happens again but for now I’m happy 🙂

Note this seems to happen on my iPad with various websites, unrelated to this theme specifically. Annoying. Seems to be some ajax/buffer thing in the iOS version of Safari.
