Hi, I’ve tried using smart lists for some articles, but there is a glitch in at least one of them. In this article, for example (using smart list 4):
http://inspirelle.com/9-recipes-perfect-festive-holiday-dinner/
You will see that at the bottom, where we should see the Likes and Shares, the WordPress Like button with a star is not appearing, and instead there is just the number and LIKE THIS. Instead of the share buttons, there are just a bunch of dashes, a number 25, and the MORE button?
It was the same for this article: http://inspirelle.com/7-festive-ways-to-enjoy-christmas-in-paris/
Please help. Aside from disabling Likes and Shares, what else can I do?
Hi @INSPIRELLE
I’ve tested the sharing buttons from Jetpack within a smart list 4 and they works fine with the latest version of the theme, V 2.3.5: http://screencast.com/t/l6oYMPJwISA5
I am not sure why they are not displayed correct on your site but I suspect that it’s a css issue. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and Jetpack, also from Jetpack live only Sharing module active, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist update the theme at the current version available on themeforest following our update guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ and test again.
Before the update process make sure you do a full backup to the database and your current wp-install: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
Thanks!
However, I just checked, and access to the settings for the “WordPress Like” button plus social share buttons that I’m having a problem with are found under the main WordPress “Settings/Sharing” menu, and not under Jetpack or Sumo Me.
Hi @INSPIRELLE
We didn’t tested the Sumo Me plugin with the theme and we cannot guarantee it will work 100%. We have not tested this plugin and we have no idea of the plugin functionality in order to provide an answer. Unfortunately time does not allow us to provide plugin implementation support.
If you really want to use this plugin we suggest you hire a freelancer to help you with implementation. You can hire one from http://studio.envato.com/
Thank you for your understanding.
P.S. You can upload an image here using the img tag: http://screencast.com/t/7vvuMfsLfSe0

The IMG button only allows me to upload an image via a URL… not upload a jpeg screenshot?
If you go to this link:
and go to the bottom of the post, you will see “10 Share What You Love” has replaced the sharing buttons, and “11 Like This” has replaced the WordPress Like button.
I see you think it could be a plug in issue, but the sharing buttons in that position seem to be switched on from the main WordPress Settings/Sharing menu. Unless those options have been added because of the Jetpack plug in? I can ask the freelancer who designed our website for us, if you think that is the case.
But, I haven’t had problems with the Like and Share buttons on other regular posts… only when I try to use smart lists.
Hi
You can use a free toll like jing to uploads your screens on a live server: https://www.techsmith.com/jing.html
Please consider that the smart lists have a different structure then the regular posts, and there could be a chance to appear issues like this when some plugins are used. Here seam to be a problem with the css which on smart list seams to be overwritten.
Unfortunately I can’t provide a solution now as the css from the plugin must be adapted at the smart-list. This is a task which require many customization and falls beyond the support can offer. If you relay need to use this plugin my advice is to get in touch with a developer which can help you with this implementation.
Thanks!
