as the title I have a problem with social widgets, especially with the connection of facebook, I followed the step by step guide entered facebook ap id and the secret key, generated the Facebook Access Token, but in frontend appears the button with the like counter but the number of like is not displayed, this is zero.
If I click on the button, I get redirected to the right page.
Can you help me with this problem?

If you configured the counter and it is not working, there would be no solution at the moment. Due to changes made by Facebook related to application access to user information and privacy, the social counter may not work for all accounts/users

The status there has not changed for some while, when they will conclude the modifications we will see what can be done in the matter or if will fix itself.

Hi Simion, I came looking for this exact problem. My Facebook settings are correct, but the number of likes isn’t being updated. It has stayed at zero.
I noticed that Facebook marked the issue you linked as resolved 20 hours ago. Is there anything here that you can release to fix this issue?

I have the same problem, maybe the point is that fb changed something in policy and the template should be updated.
my core business is on facebook so.. can you help me as soon as possible, tomorrow I have to launch the websites for my 2 pages.

Same issue for me. Posts that would have shown a couple of hundred FB likes before are now showing 0. This is not a trivial issue and needs to be fixed.
The discussion here was about the social counter, mainly the Facebook counter not working. This issue was fixed in the 8.7.4 theme update and social counter plugin 4.4 so there would be no more known problems with the counter.
Now the configuration of Facebook will require just the ID, nothing else

So if you use the latest version of the theme and theme plugins, there would be no problem with a valid configuration. Try changing the ID to a different one, then back to yours. See if this works.
