This seems to be some settings from soundcloud. With your sound I do not have a featured image but with a random song it show us.
Please make sure that your song is set to public in soundcloud.

Unfortunatelly that is not the reason. Inside the post content it works. You can see the same file. So, what is the problem of not showin the player?
