Hello, i have some problems with the sharing from jetpack (facebook), it is not appearing the featured photo.
I also have a problem with the featured post (shows only the half image). I updated to the todays latest icluding the patched files bust still the same. Any idea?

Unfortunately, the Jetpack module for Facebook was not tested with our theme and we cannot say for sure if it will work or not with the theme, sorry! Try to use only the features that the theme provide you if you want to bring best results.

Facebook doesn’t always capture image properly, which is inherent in how FB works when busy, or if it ‘times out’ trying to retrieve your open graph identified image.
Strange thing is that the facebook image (taken from featured) was working properly for almost 900 posts. Last week we started having problems…

You can try
a) check your OG meta data in post head via view post
b) check post with FB debug tool
c) make sure you have large enough featured image
d) try to use unique file names for your images, as this seemed to be one factor with Facebook (e.g,. “myimage.jpg” “myimage-01.jpg” “myimage01.jpg” not great … site-puppies-041817-640×480.jpg is better)
Test your post/site speed.
Note also, we have had timeout issues with our insights the past week with Facebook, and just launching our site via business manager this morning timed out and no content on FB.
So, they go through their little hoops. I think their developer conference going on “right now” might or might not have some impact, or just the nature of the web.
They seem to go through flurries of not being able to capture images, and we end up having to use the pesky ‘refresh attachment’ for few days, then it stops happening for no specific reason. Regardless of theme, or server, or whatever. And all our images are 600×450 or 620×450.
