I have videos on https://www.real.video website. (the video I am trying to link here: https://www.real.video/5817509990001) the Newspaper theme doesn’t seem to recognize this as a video website so I can’t use it as a featured video. (see this link: https://www.matsati.com/index.php/bits-of-torah-truths-parashat-ekev-our-god-give-liberty-and-human-rights-according-to-the-peshat/)
I need to get this to work, how do I force the theme to recognize the link as a video like it does for YouTube?

Hello,
The featured video option in our theme only recognizes facebook, youtube, vimeo or dailymotion videos. If you need to implement videos from a different network, you will have to embed them into the post content. You will not be able to use them as a featured video. Sorry. You can always set your post as a video post and set a featured image manually like you would a standard post. Then use a post style that will not show the featured image like post style 5 or a custom cloud library template. then the video you emebed will be the first element on the post.
You do not actually ‘need’ the featured video spot except for the particular video post templates.

So there is no way to actually modify the PHP code for the theme to include real.video links in the featured videos? Can you tell me where the code is for the theme that recognizes facebook, youtube, vimeo, and dailymothion videos?
