when I put a video in a post it appears for a few seconds and then disappears.

That would be unusual. I checked the post you mention, for me the video does not disappear

I waited for about 5 minutes to see, seems to display fine. If it’s still happening for you, try with a different browser maybe. Let me know if I misunderstand something, I will check again.
