The big Grid is in a full row integratet.

We added this message because we realized our users use big grids on a split row a lot. This was never intended. We created the big grids to display properly on a full row, not a split one. We saw lots of sites use them on a split row and the grids do not work properly on 2 columns. The thumbnails are broken and do not show the image as they were supposed to, but this did not seem to be a problem for our users though, I can’t imagine why. The grid is broken on 2 columns. It only works properly on a full row. Please use it on a full row.

I have created a test page. Alone with the big grid in a single row.
This gives the same problem.

No, it’s not the same. Now your grid is there but it has no posts to show. You probably sorted it to show a category that has no posts. In this case the grid will not show up at all. You do not have the message specifying the way to use the grid. Please use the block settings and filter the grid in a way that it can show posts.

So once again, I’ve included the Big Grid in a single row. All categories were listed as category (over 840 items). Nevertheless the same problem. If I select a single category, for example “press releases”, in this categorie are over 340 articles so this is not displayed.

There seems to be something wrong with the page and the elements in the structure. I can see that the error message is not present but so is the Big Grid. Please note that all the Visual composer elements are working properly with the default theme. This means that theme customization like custom code in Theme panel, code added to the theme files or a child theme could cause this, so please check this if it is needed. Also as it is usually the case, plugins could be to blame.
You can try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed, then try and create a page and add a Big Grid to see if the problem is still there. Please let us know if this advice fixes this issue.

The plugin “Massive Addons – About Visual Composer Extension” caused the error. After I deactivated the plugin the Big grid was displayed correctly.
