On my homepage thesuncoaststandard.com heads are getting chopped off in the pictures. Also, there is a facebook share counter in the middle of the page that doesnt’ seem to go with any particular article. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The thumbnails that the theme creates are cropped center top, that is considered the best overall method in the matter

The resulting thumbnails are also affected by image aspect ratio

So the same image can produce different results depending on the module used to display it. You could use other modules/blocks which features a taller thumbnail, check the results with that.

That social sharing element displayed in the middle of the page is not a theme element. I believe it is a sharing plugin. I see it also appears on posts. Maybe it has settings to stop it from appearing on pages, you could check that.

Thanks

Yes, I read how the pictures are *supposed* to be displayed. They are not cropping center top. How can I check that it is set to center top?

It will be center top, that is set in the code for each thumbnail. So it could not be different unless modifications were made

This cropping can only be changed with or in the code.
But as I mentioned the results are different by module thumbnail size, despite of the cropping system.
