Please make sure that you have the latest version of the theme Newsapper v 12.7.3; there should be no problems with the TOC.
In case you have the latest version and the problem continues, please provide some screenshots of the table settings in tagDiv Composer and a link where the table problem can be checked.

It appears that you have some extra code or plugin that is interfering with the theme TOC. When you click on it, you get this error in the console – https://i.imgur.com/vVaqHRL.png
What I will recommend is to do a test using only the theme plugins. In case the problem persists, please make a full backup of the website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary wp-admin access to investigate the situation.

I disabled all the plugins, did some cleaning, and the Show/Hide function started working again. Thanks.
