I have exactly the same problem as others re the 8.6 update and social icons. Here is a post https://www.guitarandmusicinstitute.com/how-to-play-a-little-piece-of-heaven-by-avenged-sevenfold/ for inspection both at the top of the post and at the bottom the icons are clearly not working properly.

Please try to clear all caching installed after making the update. If you use CDN please purge all files. Check if this solves the issue. Try as well to switch to the main theme if you use a child theme. Let us know if there still is a problem.

Hi, it’s a problem with the WP Rocket caching problem. When I go load the main theme it’s fine, when I go to back to the child theme, it’s a mess. (Don’t worry, I know that you have not tested and don’t have any info on the plugin WP Rocket). At least I know what the problem is. Thanks for the heads up.

I had the same problem using Child Theme. If I switch to main theme socials icons works great. But i NEED to use child theme with all my changes. How can I do?

Maybe you have files which were modified in the last theme update, inside the child theme. Such as the td_module_single.php for example

This file was modified in the update. If it is present in the child theme, the socials may not work properly.
