I’ve been on holidays and upgraded now to 2.1.
When trying to change some settings (like fonts) clicking on (example) “header” there is just the rotating symbol and nothing opens. Happens on translations too, which is bad because some of the german translation “suck” 🙂
Any advice?
Hi
It’s possible that this issue with saving settings appears because the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file or the file it’s not found. Try to verify if this happens when you save settings in other cases in theme panel and also verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
Contact your server administrator and explain the situation, as it’s requested many times during the a save the file it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.
You should also check the max_input_vars directive from you php.ini file and make sure that it’s set above 2000, you can check this in system status section within theme’s panel: http://screencast.com/t/V8MumQISR
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site’s admin login details so we cam inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
Other settings open fine (like lazy load), you can change them, save them – no errors.
Since my site is on a shared server, I have no access to the php.ini File.

Sent you a mail yesterday – forgot to write that it’s
with the problems described above 🙂
Hi,
I have replied via email 4 hours ago, this is my reply:
Hi,
I have checked your site, the error comes from the server, it restricts access to admin-ajax.php – http://screencast.com/t/dTqApVZW2h You have to check the error.log to see if you can find something related to this issue. If not you have to contact server administrator.
Thanks!
Alin V.
Well this only half the truth 🙂
As you see here, sometimes it’s loaded, sometimes not:
http://www.screencast.com/t/GP43NfHv
Following one of the red links you see that:
“No ajax panel found OR Panel is empty!
\/data\/web\/e37959\/html\/apps\/wordpress-14395\/wp-content\/themes\/Newsmag\/includes\/wp_booster\/wp-admin\/panel\/panel_core\/td_panel_core.php
<\/div>”
Maybe this helps?
Hi,
Error 500 is server related and usually only the administrator can figure out it’s cause. Please provide a copy of error.log file(use pastebin.com), so I can take a look.
Thanks!
