Problems with visual composer

Hey guys.

I’ve got some problems with visual composer….

When I try to create a layout in the editor all of the blocks are misaligned and the content wont sit inside the boxes properly. As you can see from the image the content elements aren’t sat in the rows properly and the social counter is outputting text and pushing itself into another container below the content it should sit alongside.

Not sure what’s going on, I’ve tried disabling all plugins etc but to no avail.

Incidentally my hosting provider had to move my server yesterday as I had been complaining about poor performance, they went ahead and did a server migration yesterday so maybe it’s not liking the new server environment? I don’t know though.

Might just try deleting the theme/plugins and reinstalling everything. Let me know what you think

Definitely some kind of conflict somewhere with the new version of visual composer.

1, I’ve deleted the theme, deleted all the plugins
2, Reinstalled everything as it was and the same problem re appeared
3, I went back and disabled all plugins
4, Deleted the new visual composer plugin and the social share
5, Reinstalled a previous version of VC from early November, not sure which version
6, Activated plugin, checked pages and everything is fine
7, Activated social plugin and everything still fine
8, activated all other plugins, everything still fine

I had saved a previous template in VC for use on my secondary nav pages, I tried to load this page template again with the older version of VC and this again produced the same broken results as before the VC plugin downgrade

Just tried to save a vc template again with the older version of VC and this again produced broken results when loaded with the backend editor so I’m not sure what’s going on now….. I can create pages manually without reproducing the broken elements but would like to get to the bottom of it.

Let me know if you have any ideas what might be causing this erratic behaviour, this is all since the server migration though so who knows

I had also noticed that the pages permalink above the content area was blinking in and out whilst the page was saving, this has now stopped with the older VC plugin installed

Hi

The current version of Visual Composer plugin available with the theme, V 4.9, is tested and works fine with the theme. Please make sure that you updated the theme and the Visual Composer plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Also make sure that you empty all caches, deactivate all others plugins except Visual Composer and test again. You also can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the theme and Visual Composer, then check if the problem persist.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Thanks!
