Hello
I have following message on my WordPress dashboard.
“Open Design Options: Important notice: You have an outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options. It is required to review and save it.” But I installed the newest version of Visual Composer (5.45) and your newest version of Newspaper Theme 8.5.
When I click I get to knowhere. I do not have the rights to work on it I get the message.
How can I fix it?

We recommend doing a new clean install from scratch via FTP way with the latest theme version. Clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.

If I’m going to use 8.5, do I still need WPBakery Visual Composer plugin? Or can I just use the TagDiv Composer?

Notice that the WPBakery Visual Composer is an optional plugin. The TD Composer is a required on and the all of future improvements of the theme will be developed on this page builder.

I installed the theme Newspaper and Visual Composer today new, but it didn’t have an effect positiv. But I realized that the php-datas were a little bit smaller then the ones I had on the computer. I was told to load datas per FTP with binary. I did so and replaced the smaller datas, I think I changed all of them. Eventhough I changed all the smaller datas now with the original size, it did not change. There has been no positiv effect on doing that.

Try to make a new clean install to another sub-domain from scratch via FTP way. Do you have tried this? The theme is fully tested and should work as expected. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme and WordPress. You should provide some useful screenshots with the problem so we can identify it.
