Dear tagdiv community,
I’m having trouble ever since upgrading to Newspaper version 8.7.4.
Whenever I publish a new post, instead of being redirected to the edit screen (post.php), text snippets are returned to the browser. See below:
[XI] Checking….;
[XI] NO Saved Data;
[XI] Login was OK;
[XI] Posting to PR
[XI] ACT Posting to PR
The post is published alright. So when I navigate to another part of the dashboard, everything is fine. But the usual redirect after publishing, back to the editing screen, does not work currently.
The WordPress version is 4.9.6, but the problem occurred with the previous version also.
What would be the right place to look into to get this sorted out?

Hello Michael,
First of all, please try to make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of these because these can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues.
