I will interrupt the update headaches for a moment (haven’t updated yet) to ask a question of all you Newspaper experts about using part of the sidebar and instead of showcasing MOST POPULAR (in my current layout) instead bring the most recent 3 or 4 posts from a sister site using the same theme.
How hard would that be? Anyone have an easy to follow suggestion as to how to do so?

Sorry but the theme does not have any options in this regard, You will need plugins to pull the content from external sites. Our theme was built with creating content in mind, not pulling content from other sites. Unfortunately I cannot recommend any plugins as we have not tested any. Maybe on of our users can help with a suggestion if they use such a plugin/feature.

Thank you Bogan. We write the content for both sites. As I mentioned, they are sister sites. I just thought it might be fun to help build traffic between them. I appreciate your answer and will look for other ways of possibly making it happen.
I understand they are sister sites, but it does not matter in the functionality you need. You need to pull news from another site. Sister or not, the theme does not have any functionality to do so. You will have to try a few plugins that can provide such a feature.
