So the ad is not appearing in the page. That would be a simple method, enter the ad code in the custom ad spot you want

Then place the Ad box in the page and select the ad spot

Then once the page is saved and viewed the ad should be displayed. Given the fact that the ad code is valid. What kind of ad are you using? does it work in other ad spots?

So not even a text is displayed? Did you install any caching plugins on that localhost? Clear the cache if you did. Clear the browser cache or force refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R)

I have made multiple tests and there is nothing wrong with the theme ad spots and ad box elements.
