Can I use a Newspaper License with the Newsmag theme?
The reason I ask is that I used a Newspaper License on the Newsmag theme today and was able to successfully register it. However, I encountered issues with editing the theme footer and the latest posts section on the homepage. Any advice on how to resolve this?
I don’t work here; but your license is for the Newspaper theme you are currently using, and not for Newsmag at all. Also means NO support is included. License is for (1) site install not multiple, so possibly if you have Newsmag on the same website might work temporarily until the licensing servers catch on. Dunno.

Hi abirahemmed, normally a license key is for 1 website, please check the ThemeForest license specifications here – https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard – https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular -> https://prnt.sc/X0AldIM7e7ni and it can by used to activate a development copy.
Also, using a license from one theme to another theme (from Newspaper to Newsmag) is not the best idea, because you may encounter problems in the future.
Related to your question, the elements in the footer section can be changed using the settings in the theme panel > footer section – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
The latest posts section on the homepage is part of the page template (Page builder + latest articles + pagination) and it can be adjusted using the settings at the bottom of the page (in backend) from tab Posts loop settings.
