A few question about newspapaer theme :
– as far as i saw and tested, flex block doesn’t seem to be responsive. Do you confirm that or is there some tricks to know about ?
– how to have a designated color for a category be used for all category tags ?
– how to use meta descriprtion or official expect (admin side) displaying as excerpts for the articles ?

That would depend on what you are doing with it, the block can be created as you want with the available options. You can use the responsive settings to create a design of the block for each device

The flex block does have a setting to color the category tags for the whole block, not by actual category

If you enable excerpts in the flex block they will be shown. Excerpts are either automatic or manually set for the post

– oh, i didn’t notice that things can be customised for each viewport. Amazing ! Is there somewhere where we can see can can be customized by viewport and what can not ?

Unfortunately there is no such list at the moment, we will try to add more documentation in the future for this and other elements. Basically part of the settings from the Layout, Style and CSS tabs can be customized by viewport.
Only the flex block has a setting for the category tag color, other block do not have such an option at the moment. It could be added later. The category tags in all the other blocks is a default color

While the hover color will be the theme accent color or block title text color if set. You could only chnage the color of them with CSS if needed

i mean dynamicaly depending on category color set in theme panel.
if you set a custom color for a special category (most news website will have many categories), you will see this color in contents if cat tag are displayed, but this color won’t be applied to blocks and modules:
..but not in blocks ;(
Indeed, that is already added on our list of improvements. So it might be available in the theme in the future. I could not give you a time estimate unfortunately.
