hi there,
a few questions regarding the update.

will I need to delete visual composer?

I am using list on my site where I placed the ads in posts manually with visual composer. Anyway not to lose this functionality?

additionally, my site have a few pages created with visual composer and ultimate add-ons. what will happen to those?

I want to always have the latest version of the site but this may be a problem for me.

Thanks!

Also interested in the answers to these questions.

Do I understand correctly that the Visual Composer in the future more will not be supported?

I think the documentation (which is currently under update) all these details will be outlined.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you use Visual Composer on posts and also plugin’s extensions I suggest to stay on Visual Composer. Also you can take your time for transition to tagdiv composer, there is no hurry. The theme works also with Visual Composer like it worked until now.
My recommendation is to not combine both pagebuilder plugin. If you plan to use V.C. deactivate tagdiv composer.
Make some tests on a dev site using tagdiv composer so you can make an idea about it and when you will be ready use it also on your live site.

Thanks!

Understood but in the future will you provide alternative codes I can use to replace the codes I have on the posts?

[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_2"][vc_column_text]

this is the type of code I added manually.

Thanks!

Hi,

Common shortcodes will still work properly in the future. Like for an Ad box like you mention, you can keep using the code like you are doing now.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes you will still be able to use those. The transition to the new composer is meant to be as easy as possible. Here is some more useful information

Thanks
