Quote on blocks to link to article

Hi all,

It would be really good if the “Quote on blocks” text linked to the article that it is related to. I have seen many websites with similar functionality where the text was always linked to the articled which it belonged to. It also saves the frustration of readers who might think that that is a title to another article 🙂

Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi,

Not sure I understand to which “Quote on blocks” your refer too. If you mean the excerpt: http://screencast.com/t/LhJ2ivBpf then you can take a look at how the link is added for the posts title on module here: http://screencast.com/t/yckv0gxdS9 and use the same method to add link to posts’s excerpt also.

Hi Lucian,

Yes, in my case it is the green uppercase text underneath the excerpt. I want that to link to the article which it belongs to. I am not too sure how to implement that code.

It would be what, for example, http://www.theverge.com are doing and it works really well in their case.
