Reactivating the comments section

Hi there …

For some reasons i had disabled the comments section for a while. But now i wanted to reactivate it. Strange is, that on a new article i posted today, commentbos is showing. But on all older articles – without any comment – the commentbox is not showing up. At least for me … 😉

Here is an example url: http://www.1-2-family.de/verbraucher/was-sich-im-kommenden-jahr-fuer-buerger-und-verbraucher-aendert/

The huge Headline at the bottom of the page tells ne (in german), that there is no comment. Which is fine but sad 😉 … But i would like to see the comment-box.

Of course comments are activated. Within wordpress – the themepanel and jetpack. All should be fine. But it isnt .. anyhow … 🙂

Also check the setting in WP panel re time length for allowing comments; meaning if you have it set to 300 days; any post 301 days old won’t allow comments.

ALso, if the box to disallow comments is manually checked on old posts, not sure it will uncheck by changing default WP settings. Theme doesn’t control the default WP settings; only master on/off switch for “all off” or “all on >> per WP panel settings”

I really had to reactivate comments manually per article mass editing. But now it’s working as expected. Thank you very very much! 🙂
