Few questions, can I use the recipe post types on any version? I currently have the healthy & fitness theme activated but would really like to include recipes on my site alongside general articles. can i do this?
Also, I want CATEGORY TOP POSTS GRID STYLE to be the same as the main theme which is grid style one. But it is not giving me this option. does this mean i need to install a different demo? If so, is this possible to do even though i already have the health & fitness one activated.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have any template with recipe schema markup, but you can try to create a custom template with this kind of markup, please check this topic(this is not so easy if you don’t have php experience) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/need-to-customize-the-single-post/
You can set a Big Grid and style globally or for each category, just check Theme Panel > Categories – http://screencast.com/t/nMTIuB87IC
Please provide more details if this is not what you mean(some screenshots with you settings) and your site url.

Thanks for getting back to me. Im not looking for recipe schema mark up. You have a demo that showcases recipes as a recipe site. I was looking to post recipes on my site like the recipe demo. It looks like it is a post/page. I was just wondering how to do that.
Yes that is what i was meaning but grid style one is not the same as the documentation. I want the same as grid style 1 in documentation for newspaper here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-grid-styles/

On our recipe demo we use normal post type for posts, there is not a custom post type used. We only created a specific layout for that demo but there are used default posts and pages from WordPress, not a custom post type.
You can post recipes on your site using wp posts, just chose one of theme’s post templates which will fits best for your needs. You can also group your recipes into some specific categories so you can easily sort them.
