Redirecting category to a page?

Hello,

is anyone of you redirecting the category pages to custom pages (I want my category pages to have more information besides having posts listed, thus built pages with visual composer, with additional pictures, videos and so and so forth)? If yes, you know if there is a way to replace the old url instead of just redirecting? It’s not looking that good if all my breadcrumbs show to the category url in the first place.

Hi,

I suggest you try to find a plugin that dose that, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/go-live-update-urls/ or similar.

Ah, sadly, it doesn’t work for categories, it seems.
