Reduce Width

Hi,

I’m using Newspaper v. 4.6.1

Is it possible to reduce the width of the webiste from 1170px to 1000px ?

Hello cororay,

Our theme was built based on a fixed site width. All content depends on this with in order to align to the column based layout we created. The width can be reduced using css but the problem is that all elements depend on this width. If you change it, you will have to change every single element you use on your website in order to adjust it to the new width. As an example, I reduced your site width using a live css editor: http://screencast.com/t/xqkbprjt. I suggest you stay in default width.

Ok, I understand.

And there is not an easy css solution to reduce white space on the left and between the 2 columns ? this would not change the size of the blocks or the slider.

Hello cororay,

Unfortunately, there is not simple solution for this. As I was saying above, all the elements are related to each other and if you modify any of them will spoil anything else. To display more levels you need custom modifications and I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide custom work at this time, sorry!
