If you provide the link to your page and a description of the areas you need to reduce the gaps we can help you out find where the issue is. One of the common we fond is if you are using the full-width container of visual composer, it has default padding of 20px top and bottom which you can change in the design tab.

Please notice that our demo has been designed to use the Big Grid 5 in that section and I noticed that you are using the Big Grid 7. Please notice that each demo has own design and if you will change the Visual Composer elements may be appeared some differences. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.
