If you are here, that means that you updated the WooCommerce plugin to the latest version on your website. We know how important your website and your shop are, and we are working hard to fix it. Unfortunately, as both Newspaper theme and WooCommerce are complexe, we estimate we’ll need a few days to solve this for you and test it to make sure it works flawlessly. We’ll release an updated version of the Newspaper Theme as soon as possible, in the next few days.
What you can do?
As a temporary solution, please go to the WooCommerce plugin page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/), scroll down to the ADVANCED OPTIONS section and download the version 4.6.2. from the dropdown menu – https://i.imgur.com/PVrn6RZ.png. Install this version on your website. Using the 4.6.2 version, your website will work smoothly and you give us time to provide a permanent solution.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.
Thank you for understanding!
The above solution only works if your store’s database has not updated (unlikely). Installing conflicting versions with the store database causes conflicts. In other words, WooCommerce database version: 4.7.0 will only work with WC Version 4.7. You need to have a backup of the store’s older database to roll back to 4.6. Incidentally, I was still on the older version of Newspaper, same issue.
I couldn’t get this to work in troubleshooting mode, but temporarily disabling WooCommerce on the live site did let me access TD Composer.
Hi,
We’ve just release a new theme update that is working with WooCommerce v4.7.0 -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 -> https://i.imgur.com/1XoszXD.png this should be display in Newspaper > Updates, if not, you can get it from theme forest.
If there are some problems, let us know!
Thank you!
