I was happy with the Newspaper 10 theme, but since my recent purchase I’ve been having some technical issues with the theme. My sidebar is not displaying on the post page using the PRO templates; this issue is described in this page in the forum https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sidebar-not-displaying-in-post-page/.
Furthermore, when I scroll either up or down normally on my single post page, the theme is displaying broken shortcodes on the screen during the scroll, and these then disappear after I have finished scrolling. I wish to work through this, but on this project I don’t have the time for that.
Additionally, I was hoping that the most recent update (10.4) would help me a lot with site speed, but it just has not brought the website load time increases I was expecting. I’m using CDN caching, minification of HTML and Javascript, next-gen image formats, pre-loading fonts, lazy loading images and ads, pre-connecting origins, and reducing CPU intensive tasks and core Jquery feature pre-load with a paid plugin, but Newspaper theme is just not bringing the site speed I wish for.As you can see, I’m implementing a lot of optimal site-speed increasing measures but the theme is not helping me.
I was temporarily happy with theme, as it looks good, and I really wish it would have worked for me, but at the moment I have to pass on the theme. I have already sent the refund request through Envato market, please approve it at your earliest convenience.
