Registering through Login pop up leads to an ugly email with a link for choosing a password.
Can I bypass that? Either by allowing the user directly to choose a password during the registration or by beatifying the auto email?

The registration process is not acceptable as it is.
Best solution would be to let the user choose a password when registering.
Alternative solution is to customize the default email for choosing a password.
The whole process does not log good as is. Please advise.

A workaround there is to use the default WordPress login screen, which can be customized with plugins and not the theme login modal. Or create a custom login page and link to it, so the users can login or register through it. A plugin will be needed as well. There should be plugins that can do this, and it would be the easiest way. The other being making code modifications to the theme modal, which is not the best or easiest thing to do, if even possible.
