"Related Articles" are off with Post Style 6 and Without Sidebar

Hi,

I love the related articles but just notice that the 5 related articles per row (when the layout is without sidebar) doesn’t work great if I pick “Style 6” for the post: https://www.cravingtech.com/razer-basilisk-fps-gaming-mouse-review.html (i.e the 5th related article is pushed down to the next line)

But if I pick Post “Style 4”, for example, it seems to work great: https://www.cravingtech.com/true-low-profile-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-havit-kb-390l-review.html

Hello michaelaulia,

Try to change the post limit from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/L2a78TV0SV Clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Thanks for the reply! I tried changing the post limit to follow your screenshot but didn’t seem to do anything.

Could it be a CSS issue or something that I put in somewhere? If you look at the “Related Articles” box, it seems to be misaligned/off: https://imgur.com/a/dry8M

Hello michaelaulia,

I have inspected your Related Articles from the Bottom page and it seems to work as expected, without any misalignment, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jc1gLTHz Clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin,

Which article was the one in your screenshot? As mentioned on my first post, it seems to happen only on articles with “Post Style 6” and “without Sidebar”. This is an example of one: https://www.cravingtech.com/razer-basilisk-fps-gaming-mouse-review.html. Another here: https://www.cravingtech.com/oppo-a77-review-great-value-price.html

I’ve tried different browsers (Opera, IE, Firefox, Chrome) in 2 different computers (1 at work and 1 at home) and still looks the same here – unless yours don’t have the issue somehow at your end?

Cheers

My bad, it looks like it affects Post Style 4 as well. I don’t know much about CSS but using the Inspect tool on the browser, it looks like post style 4/6 div span does not go all the way from edge-to-edge (i.e smaller width)?

Hello michaelaulia,

Before each step of debugging in WordPress, please disable all of your untested plugins because I saw that you are using some of them and all of these can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Clear all the caches and check again the results. Also, I saw that you have some Console error which can happen due to your untested plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/clulRGbvrPED. After you have done this, you should provide some accurate screenshots where the error can be seen.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Ah, fair enough, I guess I wasn’t sure if the error was caused by the theme itself or something that I do. Thanks, I’ll try debugging this on my own
