in the theme the related articles section is be sorted by latest. It’s possible to set it to random (it makes more sin I think, doesn’t it?)?

The related section is automatically sorted by latest, and filtered by category or tag depending on the setting you choose. A setting to change the order from latest to something else isn’t available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

this doesn’t make sin, doesn’t it?
Sorted by last does only show the latest but I want to offer all related articles to the reader because the latest articles the readers see on the start page/in the sidebar anyway.
If there is really no chance to change this maybe you can offer this in the new version of the theme?

Hi,
That is how it has always been. We haven’t had many requests to add sorting settings for the related articles, I could however add it on the list.
You could make a modification in the code to sort the related articles by random

Other than this there would be no other way at the moment. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Hi luke-tt, unfortunately, for the moment there were only few features added in the latest theme updates and most of theme were related to WordPress compatibility.
Unfortunately, the sorter on related articles has not been improved until now, this is still like before, sorry!
