How can I make related posts under a post use the text of the post to find similar posts?

Hi,

I don’t quite understand what you mean. The related posts section will display posts that have categories or tags in common (at least one) with the article currently viewed

This section will not do anything else, it is not supposed to. Those are all the settings it has at the moment.

I meant that it uses the actual. text in the post to find similar posts. thanks.

It does not work like that. The related articles will analyze the post currently displayed, then filter it’s content to display only related posts and posts from the same author. That is done either by tag or category, not by text in the post content.
