Hi! Please can you help with this problem. I have added an adbox under my header. But when I see it with the Google Adsense it does not look very nice. But I cannot remove it. I have looked in several forums and asked on a group. Even rolled back to a previous version of my website but the ad box is still there. Please can you help me get it off? Thank you so much!

It seems you have google auto placed.
Also, the auto ads are displayed where they fit correctly and do not consider where they are set.

– Following your guidance I have removed the code in the header section of analytics (Theme panel > Analytics/JS Codes > header script code), but isn’t this just for tracking? Not for placement of ads? I’m not sure this is a good idea as it might affect the data in SiteKit. Please can you confirm this is only for ad placement?
Unfortunately, it seems to have made no change to ad placement.
– Ads for Google is switched off, but the ad is still there. I have cleared cache.

So, coming back to my original query, I had added an ad box to my page which now I cannot remove… I understand Google will fill it, but if I remove the box surely there is not way for them to fill it?
In other words, is there no other way of just reversing this particular action of placing the ad box?

Hello,
The AdSense code needs to be set in the head and there is our section, not only for tracking.
Now the information is the same, even if the images are different https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9274516?hl=en.
You can use static ads as images -> https://i.imgur.com/YftTFXD.png or a simple code.
