Hi, I have installed Facebook comments on my site – thereadoptional.com – is it possible to disable and remove the wordpress comments section from my posts?

Hello OllieConnolly,
There is an option for it in Theme panel->Post settings, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/8q4mAfYqN8 and then you will have enabled only the comments from your plugin.
