Hello, I installed the demo data and I wanted to start with NewsMag on a clean slate. How would I go above removing the look? Like slider, widgets etc. Thank you

I think there is a reset in the bottom of the main page of the theme panel ….
but basically simplest thing is do fresh install of theme …. delete the old stuff to start freesh

I tried to do that. I deleted the theme and reinstalled it. Brought me back to the same demo theme.
