Is it possible to remove heading tags from excerpts on categories, tags and homepage?
I have a <h2> tag at the beginning of all my posts and I would like to remove them from the excerpts.

Hello,
The theme uses a custom excerpt function for the modules and blocks so the h2 tags should not display in the excerpt. Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect this issue.

On your screenshot, you can see “Flan’s Mod 1.9” at the beginning of the excerpt. On the excerpt itself, it’s not a h2 tag, but it is in the post itself. What I want, is to remove the content of the h2 tag in the excerpt, but not on the posts.
I don’t know if you understand what I tried to explain, I just want the <h2>Heading tag</h2> that is on the post does not appear on the exerpt, even the text inside the h2 tags.

I understand now what you mean, but unfortunately as the excerpt converts the text and does not output the h2, I cannot target it with css as there is no tag for the text. Unfortunately it will have to be hardcoded but we have no easy solution for this. We recommend hiring a freelancer to help out as there is no quick fix for this.
