Remove Jetpack shortcode from story description

How do I get rid of the Jetpack shortcode in my story preview text when I have a video posted at the top of a post?

I tend to share a lot of videos so this is currently a problem with two or three stories on throughcracks.com.

Also you could only put the link of the video on the feature video and remove it from post editor text area, this way the video will appear on post page without you having to add it in post content: http://screencast.com/t/1oBbDKlZ
