Hello,
How can I remove the overlay tint on the above-named post template? I want it to be completely clear at the top and then tinted only where the post title info is. Thank you for your help with this.

Hi,
So you would like to remove the tint, but only for the top part of the featured image when using post template 7. That could be possible if you edit the theme stylesheet, this is where the top tint value is set

If you were to set that 18% value to 0, the top tint will not longer appear.
Or enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS to override the default values
