Remove post date from google search

How do I remove the post date from google search? I’ve used Yoast and set it to hide dates but to no avail. I’m thinking of doing some tinkering with the theme itself. Thanks.

Hello jasonleewkd,

Please notice that functionality is not handled by our theme. After you have made some changes to Seo Yoast, please ensure that you have cleared all of your caches and check the results.
