I want to stop any social sharing icons appearing at the bottom of each post. I can not set the social share prompt in the theme template to show zero? Please advise what I can do.

That depends on the type of post template you are using.
If you use a cloud post template, then you can edit the template with the composer https://prnt.sc/trKaygjQFR98 and remove the sharing buttons https://prnt.sc/tlVLbR-IqqjU
Or if you use a standard post template then you can disable the sharing bottom in the theme panel https://prnt.sc/2kdtySQQVPB_

However, my newspaper template is not showing what your screenshot shows. I cannot send you a screenshot with this response and will email it to you instead.
I do have the option to toggle off the social sharing button on the article. Any idea why this is so? I am up to date with your software. Thank you.
