Remove the pingback tag from the header

I would like to remove the pingback tag from the header from the header. I found it in the header.php file of the newspaper theme dossier.

Thanks for your answer. Yes I have already deactivated all the first 3 settings in discussion and the tag is still there in the header

Thank you for your answer. I always uncheck these settings when start a new wordpress website (https://i.ibb.co/BcvgLRx/Screenshot.png). But I still have the tag in the header

I flushed the object cache file and purged all cache and still not removed. (Either way I always had the settings deactivated so…)
