Please tell me how to remove the very top menu which is black, I don’t have items in it and it just says click here to select menu, thanks.
Also where do I put custom css or do I have to use a child theme, if so can you please tell me what to recreate so I don’t have to change it every time I update it, or add a way with next update for us to choose how many menus we want and where.

If you want to add custom CSS, please use the Child theme.
