Remove URL links from excerpts

Hi,

I see excerpts also show url links which are used to display videos.

Is there a way to hide them.

Hello George,

Unfortunately there is no way to remove the URL in the excerpt if a video is embedded, but there is a way around it. You can use a custom excerpt for your video posts. Just write your excerpt in post edit in this field: http://screencast.com/t/umcsCbkZT and the standard excerpt will be overwritten.

Hello,

My apologies for coming back. Looking at your screenshot I believe we had an option.
But I’m unable to see that in my Dashboard. do we require any plugin?
