Removing Author/Comments LINKS but keeping text (I tried but failed. please help

I spent 30 min looking through the code, couldn’t find it.
I looked through 15+ threads on this forum, couldn’t find anything to help me either.

Here’s what I’m trying to do:

– I want to remove the links to the author pages while keeping the name of the author there. (I want to do this site-wide)
– I also want to remove the links to #respond links (internal links on the page).

Here are the links I’m trying to remove:

While keeping the same text. I know I have to edit the theme to accomplish this… the question is, where do I edit it?
