Please advise how to reset the view counts on the posts. Every new post created has the same views has the older post.

The view counter can be change, stop or reset, also you have the possibility to set manually the number of view, go in posts and enable the custom fields -> https://i.imgur.com/NavHTFn.png after that down in post will appear the the custom field options -> https://i.imgur.com/waKZBHe.png change it -> https://i.imgur.com/NAFEi9p.png and check the results.

I tried to find the location shared in reply, but did not find any location in my post.

It is resolved with “Screen Options”. I found another setting “Custom Fields” were disabled in “Screen Options” in posts. After enabled the “view counts” are available in the post bottom section.

unfortunately for us “Classic editor” WP users, you keep repeating the exact same reply for “how to reset count in posts” – Using Gutenberg editor layout? To enable options, you show a 3 dot menu (top right) and Options(bottom right sidebar) to display the editor change locations. Neither of these attributes show up in Classic editor – So everyone like us, still has no clue how to enable options to reset Count!
