I am asking about resize images in theme. I have seen many sites, they server different size of images to their visitors without having multiple size copies of the original. Mean they are serving one single image in multiple sizes.
Example:
Full Size(Original)
https://images.indianexpress.com/2021/01/IFFI-1200.jpg
Resized Image of the original without creating another resized copy
https://images.indianexpress.com/2021/01/IFFI-1200.jpg?resize=450,250
For your kind information, IndianExpress.com is built on WordPress.
But in our newspaper theme, the themes creates multiple copies of the original image in all size enabled in the theme panel.
So, any solution to it?

That is because of the selected thumbs. In theme panel you can see this option: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ph3nH4VulW Here you will need to activate only the ones that you use. Every thumb is destined for a block, see what blocks you use and let only those thumbs enabled.

I wanted to mean why your theme is generating multiple crops copies of the original when resizing via URL can be done instead.

This happens because this is the way that Newspaper Theme has been built, by using thumbs. Unfortunately at the moment there is no workaround for this at the moment.
