My website, in it’s current form, is stable and has a decent design. For this topic, I’ll call this version 1.
Now, I’d like to do a few changes. Massive changes, experimental. This would be version 2.
Is there any solution in case version 2 doesn’t work / look as I want, to be able to easily revert to version 1?
There won’t be any content changes, just the basic template and css/html

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what kind of changes you want to do. All the custom CSS code should have to be added to Custom Code for your desired changes. Also, if you want to make some massive changes you should use the Child Theme, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
